Our Story

The Midlothian Innovative Learning Experience (MILE) opened its doors in the fall of 2019. We are the product of the 2016 bond, which allowed the old Irvin Elementary building to be transformed into a premier Career & Technical destination. We offer 5 of the CTE pathways offered by Midlothian Independent School District including: Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Video Game Design.

We are home to The Scratch Kitchen, operated by our Practicum Culinary Arts students. It is open to the public each Tuesday - Thursday from 11:00 - 12:30 starting October 10.
